SuperBridge Summit 2024 Brings Together Global Leaders
The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and the SuperBridge Council announced the second edition of the SuperBridge Summit 2024, to be held on October 15th and 16th at One&Only One Za'abeel in Dubai. Coinciding with GITEX Global, the summit will bring together emerging leaders from the global economy to discuss innovation and the future of the economy.
Themes and Participation
With the theme "Innovate for Next Gen” (Innovate for the Next Generation), the summit will address five central topics shaping the global economy: 'Economic Powerhouse', 'Technology and Industrial Transformation', 'Leadership and Human Equity', 'Life and Wellbeing' and 'Wealth and Investment'.
Innovation will be highlighted as a proactive approach to addressing global challenges, while the focus on the next generation emphasizes the evolution of economic forces, technology, leadership, well-being, and investment.
The previous edition of the SuperBridge Summit featured 58 renowned speakers, including ministers from various countries, as well as more than 400 presidents and CEOs, and 2000 C-level participants, representing a capital base of US$3,5 trillion across 140 financial institutions and a combined corporate wealth of US$900 billion.
Participants included representatives from the UAE Ministry of Economy and major conglomerates such as Trip.com, Japan's Asset Management One and the Beijing Academy of AI.
Social Impact
Vanessa Xu, Executive Chairman and CIO of VS Partners and co-founder of the SuperBridge Council, expressed excitement in announcing the second edition of the event.
She highlighted the success of the previous edition as proof of the growing economic importance of the eastern and southern regions of the world. Xu also mentioned that the summit serves as a hub for interdisciplinary and international partnerships, highlighting emerging talent ready to tackle global challenges.
