Prior to her appointment, Teresa Isabel Nnang Avomo served as Deputy Director of Operations for GEPetrol, a position that prepared her for the role of CEO. As Deputy Director of Operations, Teresa Isabel Nnang Avomo has been instrumental in directing and optimizing NOCs' operations and upstream businesses across the entire hydrocarbon value chain.
Teresa is an engineer with at least 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry, having studied Mining and Energy Engineering in Spain and completed a Masters in Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production at Herriot Watt University, Edinburgh.
In addition, he has a good command of Spanish, French and English, a fundamental language in the oil sector, since negotiations in the oil sector and companies that exploit this resource are what they use as their main language.
