The International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB) continues its traditional initiative of offering scholarships, accompanied by monthly stipends, under the GCUB-Mob International Mobility Program. This program is aimed at international students from five continents interested in pursuing Master's or Doctoral degrees at associated Brazilian universities.
GCUB-Mob Program Details
GCUB-Mob is an initiative of GCUB, supported by the Guimarães Rosa Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, and by the National UNESCO Commission for Brazil.
And also, by the National Council of State Foundations for Research Support (CONFAP), by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), by the Organization of American States (OAS), by the Organization for South-South Cooperation (OSC), by the Union of Universities of Latin America and the Caribbean (UDUALC) and by the Consejo Superior Universitario Centroamericano (CSUCA).
The announcement regulates the selection of candidates for scholarships, accompanied by monthly stipends, offered by Brazilian universities associated with GCUB, under the GCUB-Mob International Mobility Program. These scholarships are intended for Master's and Doctoral programs in Brazil, scheduled to begin in 2025.
Application and Selection Process
In its third edition, the GCUB-Mob International Mobility Program offers more than 800 scholarships, accompanied by monthly allowances, for Master's and Doctoral programs at 55 universities located in different regions of Brazil.
To apply, candidates must have completed their undergraduate studies and be citizens of a country that maintains diplomatic relations with Brazil. Candidates who meet the requirements must provide the information and submit the necessary documents for application by June 17, 2024, at 23:59 PM (BRT).
During the application process, candidates can apply to up to five universities in different regions of Brazil. Applying to five different institutions increases the chance of receiving a scholarship from one of these universities.
After completing and submitting the GCUB-Mob International Mobility Program application form, GCUB will acknowledge receipt of the documents and forward the applications to the universities for admission. Students should not apply directly to universities and should await the announcement of the results, scheduled for September 25, 2024.

The scholarships cover living expenses, allowing students to focus fully on their studies and research.
